An unmissable event
The Grand Pavois is a must-attend event for Dufour. The show, held just steps away from the shipyard, at the Port des Minimes in La Rochelle, is a key date on the calendar.
This year, four standout models from the new range are showcased in the water: the Dufour 37, the Dufour 41, and the Dufour 470, accompanied by the brand new Dufour 44.
These are exceptional yachts, all winners of international awards bestowed by world-renowned sailing experts.
The Dufour 44 – Multiple nominations, already awarded
The Dufour 44 yacht made its world debut in the water at the Cannes Yachting Festival this past September. Since then, it has been on a world tour, heading to Annapolis, where it will make its “U.S. Premiere.”
This 13-meter yacht is both high-performing and comfortable. It represents the perfect balance between Dufour’s marine spirit and innovation, which is at the heart of the brand’s DNA. The Dufour 44 delivers an unmatched sailing experience. Responsive and intuitive, it is a yacht designed for both seasoned sailors and less experienced crews.
Three nominations
This latest addition to the Dufour range has already been praised by the international press. It has been nominated for three prestigious awards, granted by journalists and editors specializing in sailing. The Dufour 44 left a strong impression on those lucky enough to test it during the press trials in La Rochelle.
It has been nominated for Boat of the Year, awarded by the American magazine Cruising World. This internationally recognized award has been given annually for 25 years to the yacht that demonstrates the best marine qualities, according to the jury.
The Dufour 44 has also caught the attention of Sail magazine and is in the running to become the Best Boat of 2025.
In a recent nomination, the Dufour 44 has been selected for the European Yacht of the Year, a prestigious award judged by a panel of 12 journalists from various European publications.
The Dufour 44 decorated
At the Genoa Boat Show in September, the Dufour 44 was honored with the Design Innovation Award. Its modern lines, spacious interiors, and sleek design impressed the Italian jury.
This is a great source of pride for the passionate teams at Dufour, who worked alongside two highly talented architects: Umberto Felci for the exterior design and Luca Ardizio for the interiors.
Three essential yachts from the range
Alongside this 2024 novelty—the Dufour 44—you will find other essential yachts from Dufour’s new range: the Dufour 37, Dufour 41, and Dufour 470.
The Dufour 37 – A unique, high-performing, and spacious yacht
The Dufour 37 is the entry-level model of the range, offering more than comfortable interior and exterior spaces for a boat of its size. It is one of the finest embodiments of the shipyard’s DNA: high-performing and comfortable, sleek and intuitive in navigation.
The Dufour 37, like other Dufour models, has received significant attention from the press. In 2023, it was awarded the Top 10 Best Boats by Sail magazine. This recognition confirms its exceptional marine qualities and comfort.
The Dufour 41 – An exceptional 41-foot yacht
The Dufour 41 stands out with a design optimized for outdoor living. This over-12-meter cruising yacht features a cockpit with a volume rivaling that of larger yachts. With this model, the Dufour shipyard continues to push boundaries and promises exceptional sailing experiences, thanks to its craftsmanship and the expertise of its passionate teams.
It also earned the Top 10 Best Boats in 2024 by Sail magazine. Additionally, it received a notable distinction at the Genoa Boat Show, where it was honored with the Design Innovation Award.
The Dufour 470 – An iconic luxury yacht
When Dufour’s expertise reinvents itself to create the yacht of the future, the result is a boat over 14 meters long, beautifully designed and high performing, offering unique sensations. The Dufour 470 perfectly embodies the balance between Dufour’s craftsmanship and the brand’s desire for innovation. While following in the footsteps of its predecessors, it retains the shipyard’s DNA while incorporating a touch of modernity.
This yacht, too, has collected numerous awards, including the prestigious Yacht of the Year, awarded by the British magazines Yachts and Yachting Magazine and Sailing Today Magazine. It also received the Top 10 Best Boats accolade.
Yachts to be seen in the water, and more
These award-winning yachts, recognized worldwide, will be present in the water at the Grand Pavois show in La Rochelle.
This show will also be an opportunity to talk with dealers about Dufour’s major announcement at the Cannes Yachting Festival: the launch of the new Dufour 48 yacht.
