Dufour 48 – The big new model for 2025 makes her debut
Announced at the Cannes Yachting Festival back in September, the long-awaited Dufour 48 is making her first appearance in the waters of the Balearic Islands, to the delight of Dufour brand enthusiasts.
A fully-loaded yacht on show
Among the multitude of options available on the new Dufour 48, two major ones will be presented aboard the yacht on display at the Palma Boat Show. This particular example will be equipped with a hard top and the hybrid powertrain offered by Dufour: the ODSea+ pack.
In its hard top version, the Dufour 48 reveals elegant and modern lines. The cockpit is fully protected from spray, sun and all possible weather conditions. This option is suitable for sailing in the Mediterranean, long passage-making or even exploration in higher latitudes. To ensure ease of sail handling, the helmsman can keep an eye on the sails at all times thanks to the windows above the helm stations.
The Dufour 48 on show at Palma will also be equipped with the ODSea+ pack. A revolutionary hybrid powertrain that allows you to sail with more safety, more freedom, more performance and more comfort. With the hard top option, a large area of solar panels is provided, guaranteeing optimal operation of this power solution.
A yacht focused on outdoor living
In keeping with the spirit of the new Dufour range, the Dufour 48 is a yacht that places particular emphasis on outdoor living. Comfort, elegance and practicality are enhanced to offer a perfect outdoor experience.
The Dufour 48 features two major innovations: the SKY LOUNGE COCKPIT and the SKY LOUNGE DECK. The former offers a large U-shaped cockpit that guarantees great conviviality. Two cockpit tables are fitted, a setup that allows for fluid movement at all times. These tables can be converted into two large sun loungers. At the front, the Dufour 48 has a real deck saloon with two ultra-comfortable loungers.
Even inside, the Dufour 48 sailing yacht remains focused on the outside. The large hull and roof windows offer a permanent 360° view and guarantee, in addition to pleasant light, a total connection to the ocean and the sky.
Luxurious interiors
The interiors of the Dufour 48 are characterised by their amazing brightness. A soft, warm light radiates throughout.
The Dufour 48 has a large number of options and modular areas. These include two galley layouts: forward or lateral. The Dufour 48 can also accommodate an office space, a proper bathroom, and even a skipper’s cabin.
Movement is fluid within the Dufour 48 yacht. The interior space is substantial thanks to the hull form and the intelligent use of the available space.
